experimentation with a single frequency (C) and several octaves. sorry it’s not very entertaining, but it’s what I did today. there you go.

infoburn

picked up a few (freeware) VST plugins today and they were used on this track to try them out. the effects are not dramatic, but I like them. I hope the droning nature of this one doesn’t give anyone a headache. If it does, I’m sorry.. consult your doctor about the dangers of intense ambient music listening.

about the art: the source pic is from a wall in one of my classrooms, scuffs, markings and (Korean) graffiti make strange topographical map-looking patterns in the final image.

silicate rain

I read that the Hubble had found an earth-sized planet that was blue in color, probably caused by the several thousand mph winds blowing glass rain through the atmosphere constantly. (so don’t plan on living there)

the flickering clicking string-like sound that’s heard first and throughout was recorded pretty much as you hear it from my computer speakers when a game I was playing froze.
